Simpson Strong Tie DIAB37 Drop-In Anchor 3/8" provides the user with easier installation into base materials, an improved geometry in the preassembled expansion plug helps setting capability so the anchor installs with  fewer hammer strikes. These displacement-controlled expansion anchors are set by driving the plug toward the bottom of the anchor using either the hand- or power-setting tools. DIAB anchors were designed to feature a positive-set marking indicator at the top of the anchor.
