UCAN Drop-In Concrete Anchors

Drop-in concrete anchors are often used for attaching fire sprinkler pipe, sprinkler heads or lighting fixtures overhead into concrete ceilings. They're also handy for attaching handrails. These expansion anchor bolts are dropped into pre-drilled holes and then set by using a setting tool that causes the expanding concrete anchor to become tight. UCAN drop-in anchor bolts come in several sizes, starting at 1/4"€ for the zinc-plated units and going up to 3/4"€. Stainless steel expansion bolts come in 1/4"€, 3/8€" and 1/2" sizes. The female threaded end is usually set flush with the concrete. There's a drop-in setting tool available for each size of drop-in anchor. A setting tool is required in order to set these anchors into place.
