Nutsert Threaded Inserts

Avdel Nutsert threaded inserts are a type of threaded rivet that provides load-bearing threads in thin sheet materials such as sheet metal used in HVAC systems. They're appropriate for use in all types of light fabrication as well as the manufacture of electronics, appliances, automobiles and anything utilizing sheet metal. Sometimes called pop rivets or weld nuts, access to the material being riveted is only required from one side, making application quick and easy.

The concept is similar to the installation of threaded inserts for concrete that, when set, are ready to accept a screw or a bolt. Nutsert inserts provide the same type of threaded receptacle for thin materials so that they are capable of accepting a screw or bolt that can bear a load.
