Coated Abrasives
Coated Abrasives
A coated abrasive is created by adhering grains to a backing such as fibre, paper, or cloth material. Grains can be aluminum oxide, zirconia alumina, and ceramic abrasive, among others. The backing and grains are combined to create coated abrasives with a variety of flexibility (determined by backing material), finish, and used for applications such as metal, wood, plastic, and more.
