    Quality control….Not all screws are straight

    I bought 3 of the 250 pcs boxes for my project and found approximately 5%-10% of the screws were slightly curved. This made driving the 10” long screw through the PT lumber difficult and at times it would get stuck and I could not drive the screw down any further. This also causes stress to the impact driver motor and reduces productivity while I had to use my socket set to manually back the stuck screw out. The straight screws could be easily driven in and worked great. I will try pre-drilling the PT lumber to see if the curved screws can be used still. Otherwise these will go in the garbage and a waste of money. There needs to be some quality control during the manufacturing of the screws.
