This filter can be easily installed and remove. Users can conduct positive pressure seal check while installed. With a hard case this filter can be wiped with 3M respirator cleaning wipes. Users should replace the 3M Reusable Respirator Exhalation Valve Filter if damaged, if the filter media becomes soiled, or if breathing becomes difficult. This filter is NIOSH approved accessory only for the use with 3M Half facepiece reusable respirators 6000 series, when used with 3M Particulate filters 7093, 5N11/501/603 or 2091, and is not FDA cleared for use as a medical device for use in surgical applications.
