3M™ Fire Barrier Ultra Plastic Pipe Device, UPPD-1.5

The 3M Fire Barrier Plastic Pipe Device is designed to firestop up to 1-1/2 inches of non-metallic pipe, cables and combos in new and retrofit installations. It provides up to three hours fire protection in tested and listed systems. This device easily and quickly mounts with 3M Ultra Fast Anchors and Pliers (requires 3 anchors, anchors sold separately), no power tools, mounting screws or other fasteners needed.
Features

• Firestop tested up to 3 hours in accordance with ASTM E 814 (UL 1479) and CAN/ULC S115
• Embossed 3M and red colour is easily identified as a firestop device
• Installation takes about one minute (when completed with 3M Ultra Fast Anchors)
• Used to firestop 1-1/2 inch (38.1 mm) ccPVC, PVC, CPVC, FRPP, PVDF, ccABS and ABS pipes penetrating 1- and 2-hour floor/ceiling assemblies, as well as 1-, 2- and 3 hours of fire-rated gypsum wallboard and fire-rated concrete wall, floor or hollow core assemblies
